Meet Dana Muswagon
Dana Muswagon is a Cree beadwork artist from Norway House Cree Nation. She picked up beading in April 2024 and hasn’t looked back since. What started as a hobby quickly became something more—a way to connect with culture, express herself, and create with purpose.
She makes hand-stitched earrings, pins, and medallions, each one made with care. Her work has already been recognized locally and beyond, including custom pieces for the Youth Conference and the University of Waterloo.
Dana is a wife and a proud mother of three boys. As she continues to grow in her practice, she finds joy in learning, creating, and honouring where she comes from through her beadwork.
